Well after a long week revising and building my portfolio...
The result is that I passed my final assessments, theory exam was a little bit tricky but did ok. I was really panicing about the joint assessment and the treatment and especially the Anatomy!! Still stayed in Manchester with Adam and we had a good meal then did some revision!
Slept ok but then up early..... got to Active Health and started to panic... straight to the loo for a pooo!! Argghh nervous botoom or what. Ended up going second, first group didn't get shoulder... so Gary asked for volunteers to do shoulder - I was in there go for it... I wanted it, do the hardest! I worked on Alice (she was my first massage way in July 2008 and now my last on the course) and completed about 5 minutes early 34 out of 35 - get in!!!
Then came the anatomy oh my god!!! We got in and it was osigins and insertions arrrggghhh! Did my best and got acceptable - 58/75, which was brilliant for me and a pass!
So all in all excellent, now just to finish off my portfolio and its there!
So now a Sports Therapist so watch out for SmartWay2Fitness and SmartWay2Health .co.uk an .com websites coming soon!!
Regards

On the road to a new day!
Hey everyone!
Though I don't think that anyone will read but still I wanted to write it down!
So its been nearly two weeks since I had a drink and since I started a different diet, after the metabolic typing. I don't seem to be as hungry, I feel fuller and its done my appetite the world of good. I am a lot less windy than I have ever been. I'm feeling good and focussing a lot better on stuff!
I am just eating a lot better than I have done for a while and thinking about getting back on my bike and do some exercise again.
The Sports Therapy training is coming on really well. My anatomy is getting better each day and I am practicing when I can. I treated a man last night with Thoracic Oulet Syndrome. It was really good and I learnt so much from the session and new techniques for necks and side lateral lines.
Anyway thats enough for today,
Ian

Sprains & strains
Today I'm preparing a micro-teach for my course assessment tomorrow. The subject is the three degrees of sprains and strains......
If you suffer one of these make sure that you treat it straight away it will start the healing process quicker.
My first blog mmm no to great but I'll have more to write soon
